Eight Magical Years!
Eight years ago this amazing baby boy housing an extremely peaceful and wise Spirit landed right into my arms...Joshua's boundless and unbreakable connection to Source fills me with so much hope for the future. He also fills those who are close to him with a vague sense that something is very different about him. I try not to get caught up in how others experience my children; all children are coming in enlightened! They are all, as are we miracles! We all need to lighten up and enjoy the unfoldment of their gifts more and allow them the freedom to express those gifts. In doing so we align with receiving our own Truth of what it means to be human. When we listen to and nurture our children's Souls we begin to understand our own Sacred Truth of what it means to be Spiritual Beings having human experiences...
Kahlil Gibran in his book The Prophet breathed life into the beautiful concept of "conscious parenting" over eighty years ago...
Your Children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
and though they are with you, yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts.
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies, but not their souls.
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness;
For even as he loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable.
So today I celebrate this amazing kid's life!!! I'm honoured that he decided to show up in this world and simply say, walk with me through this experience...I'm here to remind you that it really is a Limitless Infinite Fantastical Experience! I wish and hope and pray that in his moments of forgetting that I can be strong for him in my Spirit to gently remind him of his everlasting and unbreakable connection to Source!

Enigmatic Drawings
We have to be willing to let go of the life we had planned, in order to live the life that is waiting for us. This quote hangs above my kitchen door and is my daily reminder to not be attached to my plans. However some days I find myself still in the process of letting go of my old life. Those days are few and far between but every once in awhile my thoughts linger with the notion of regret, fortunately it seems to be that at those times I get an email, or a phone call and someone in the world has been touched by something I have written or drawn and the grey cloud of regret dissipates. This allows me to see that if had clung to the life I had I would not be inspiring others to the degree that I am today.
I’ve been blessed to meet up with another artist whose life changed overnight…His name is George and like myself he doesn’t have an art background. In the early nineties while in the midst of setting up his business empire and raising a young family he started to tap into his innate ability to remember and create profound images. Something very mystical is going on here...

In one of our conversations on creativity it became apparent the we both come to a place in trying to express ourselves that is beyond words...and that the desire to express is what opens the portal for the artwork to come through. In my initial contact with Enigmatic Drawings I felt moved to connect with the person behind the images and say thank you for sourcing these miracles. I felt compelled to let him know that his drawings are meant to spread through the world and speak to the people who are ready to embrace their message. That was a fully present moment of light and love pouring out of me…and I am very happy that I acted on that driving force of appreciation.
Enigmatic Drawings are profound images that are intriguing and very powerful. The reaction to George’s work varies greatly and the greatest lesson he has taught me is fear is still very rampant in this world. We want to know the origin of things in such a deep way that if what we are seeing right before eyes presents itself in such a way that we have “nothing” to reference the source, that invokes awe and fear in many people.
George has quite the journey ahead and as he has put it, “resistance to the artwork is futile, for at this point and yet again, my situation seems to evolve in such a way that any endeavours to do anything else in terms of a career or business project etc somehow and in the most extraordinary ways at times, seems to just dissipate forcing me back to the drawings.”
Given the tiny snapshot of George’s life that he has shared with me I feel that there has been a herculean effort on his part to try to get back to the life he had before his drawings...Don’t we all do that? We hold a miracle in our hand as we touch who we are in the essence of our being and in the next breath we fleet in the face of our own perfection…That was a few months ago, today I see George ready to lead the way for all of us to step into the essence of who we are.
Enigmatic drawings infuse the creative waters of our imagination with such a rich blend of spiritual sustenance. His drawings have the power to shake our grounded intellects as the winds of awe and wonder clear the air of our old judgments. It's a good thing as these fears no longer serve us in our spiritual evolution. Each time I immerse myself in the images I feel a growing curiosity and deep ineffable sense of wonder that feeds the glowing embers of my creative fires. Collectively we have all attracted the beauty that is found in these perfectly poised and symmetrical works of art. I feel my heart fill with an intensity of hope now as through the drawings I can touch the divine organizational intelligence behind these images that have come through in order for us to intuitively grasp who we are in the cosmic scheme of things.

Centripetal Force
I love the explosion of colour and movement in the above image. I just can't stand the hands... When I was a kid my dad use to take me to the park after dinner and for awhile my favourite piece of equipment was the merry-go-round. You know those death traps with the full metal bottom that sat six inches off the ground. They could spin up to like a hundred miles an hour and if you drank a blue slush puppy just before your ride you ran the risk of tossing Smurf cookies through your nose! Well my dad was a man of brains not brawn and in response to my squeals of delight and yelling Daddy push me faster, one day he said “I’m tired kiddo.” “Pleeeeeease” I begged I wanted to feel the wind in my hair, close my eyes and hang my head upside down just for the simple childhood fact that it felt so good to play! As the ride slowed down I remember catching glimpses of my dad as it slowly turned and thinking he’s not lying, he is tired today, and I hopped off and said “that’s okay let’s go home, maybe we can come back tomorrow and you can push me really really fast!” I said as I started walking away. He said “Wait you know there is a way you can make this ride go fast!” “Really, How?” I inquired. “By using a special kind of force it’s called centripetal force. You see I’ll get you going and push a little bit as you stay here on the edge of the ride I will tell you when to move into the centre. As you move into the centre the centripetal force will speed you up!” I looked into his eyes that were twinkling so bright from his scientific enthusiasm that I knew he wasn’t lying...I hopped back on and yelled “okay start her up! Wait, wait I said jumping off I’m scared! Is this the same force Yoda uses because I don’t want to fly into outer space!” “No” my dad assured me. So I jumped on and held on really tight and listened carefully to my dad’s instructions. I was surprised and tickled with sheer joy that it actually worked, I wasn’t going really fast but it was working! I felt myself speeding up when I walked into the middle and slowing down when I walked backwards out to the edge. I remember feeling like I was in control of that ride and I loved playing with centripetal force.
As an avid spiritual seeker I've found myself to be back on that ride quite a few times in my adulthood...and sitting right in the middle of this cosmic merry-go-round is God/Source. I see we are all on this ride; we are all on a journey into the centre. Some people are ahead and close to the middle and some behind each one of us though is exactly where we are meant to be. On the way home from the park that day I asked my dad how does that work? He explained it, and I tried my hardest to grasp what he was saying but his language and the theory not to mention the whole bloody formula was well beyond my understanding. I said "that’s okay, I know what centripetal force feels like so I guess it doesn't matter that I don't understand how it works right?" I got a funny look, I use to get "that look" a lot, followed by silence that use to lead me to feeling a little bit uncomfortable. I now realize that was his discomfort in that moment that quite possibly I had inspired him to think about things in a different way. Just as it was intellectually impossible for me to understand centripetal force at the age of eight, I know it is just as impossible for me to fully comprehend God/Source while I am in my human form. I’m sticking to my eight year old conclusion though that I know what God/Source feels like and therefore my direct experience’s become my Truth and matter more to me than all those theories...by the way Centripetal force comes from Latin centrum "center" and petere "to seek" I chuckled as I read that definition and realized even though I grew up in a home that valued science over religion and spirituality God/Source was very much present. Always supporting me, in every step of the way in seeking the centre of my Being.
